Senior Sales Engineer supporting enterprise customers by understanding complex needs and showcasing data replication solutions. Collaborating closely with sales teams and providing technical expertise.
Responsibilities
Work with enterprise customers to understand their business needs, use cases, and data replication requirements
Develop and deliver functional and technical presentations to enterprise audiences
Ensure technical wins by leading a rigorous proof-of-value process
Work closely with Fivetran Product, Post-Sales Services, Support, and Engineering teams to ensure our solutions align with enterprise customer needs
Develop and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers and partners
Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends in our industry
Requirements
5+ years selling IT services or products in an enterprise or similarly complex environment
Strong technical experience covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies
Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, data catalogs, and BI tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bilingual in French and English
English (professional proficiency) required due to the nature of the role: regular written and verbal interactions with clients/prospects outside Quebec, as well as drafting emails and proposals in English.
