About the role

  • Senior Sales Engineer supporting enterprise customers by understanding complex needs and showcasing data replication solutions. Collaborating closely with sales teams and providing technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Work with enterprise customers to understand their business needs, use cases, and data replication requirements
  • Develop and deliver functional and technical presentations to enterprise audiences
  • Ensure technical wins by leading a rigorous proof-of-value process
  • Work closely with Fivetran Product, Post-Sales Services, Support, and Engineering teams to ensure our solutions align with enterprise customer needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key enterprise customers and partners
  • Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends in our industry

Requirements

  • 5+ years selling IT services or products in an enterprise or similarly complex environment
  • Strong technical experience covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies
  • Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, data catalogs, and BI tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • English (professional proficiency) required due to the nature of the role: regular written and verbal interactions with clients/prospects outside Quebec, as well as drafting emails and proposals in English.
