About the role
- Full Stack Developer building production-grade AI-enabled applications on GCP for Foci, a remote-first technology team. Collaborating with clients while using Python, TypeScript, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Architect solutions for complex business challenges using modern technology
- Build and deploy production-grade applications on GCP
- Develop solutions that leverage AI models
- Use Google data and ML tools, including BigQuery and VertexAI
- Apply AI-driven development and AI coding agents
- Build software with Python and TypeScript
- Work with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Shift between focused coding and high-level client collaboration
- Deliver high-impact solutions for clients
- Submit a current resume as part of the application
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Software Engineer building and deploying production-level applications on GCP
- Experience building solutions that leverage AI models
- Proficient with Google data and ML tools, including BigQuery and VertexAI
- Proficient in AI-driven development and AI coding agents
- Proficient in modern programming languages including Python and TypeScript
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have a valid and unrestricted Work Permit
