API/Backend Developer role designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. Onsite in Mississauga/Toronto, ON.
About the role
- Java Developer at Foster Moore contributing to software development and maintenance of software products. Collaborating on automation tests and engaging in Scrum teams and lifecycle processes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the ongoing development of software products and projects
- Development and maintenance of core software and configuration templates
- Development of automation tests and associated testing activity
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Groovy, C#, PHP, etc.)
- A thorough understanding and relevant experience in web technologies (e.g., XML, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS)
- Good understanding and implementation experience of web services (Rest or SOAP)
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in Scrum teams preferred
- Experience using SDLC tools such as Jira, Stash, Jenkins
