About the role
- Full-stack engineer building and releasing Vue.js and Node.js features for FrontLobby’s rental credit, screening, and debt-recovery platform. Directing AI coding agents and owning production releases.
Responsibilities
- Plan and scope features by analyzing existing code and selecting approaches that fit the architecture.
- Direct AI coding agents with clear context and well-scoped tasks.
- Review all code changes for bugs, security gaps, and design issues.
- Make architectural decisions about data models, API boundaries, code reuse, and structure.
- Convert product design prototypes into production-ready code.
- Write tests, validate behavior, and verify results in the running application.
- Improve project instructions, AI skills, and review workflows.
- Own feature releases, monitor production, and fix issues.
- Collaborate with product, design, and support while explaining tradeoffs clearly.
- Plan and ship full-stack features across the Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and MySQL platform.
Requirements
- 4+ years building production web applications across the full stack.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with Vue.js or a similar framework such as React or Angular.
- Daily, hands-on experience with Claude Code or a similar agentic coding tool on a real codebase.
- Excellent code review skills.
- Good architectural instincts.
- A habit of verifying output with evidence such as tests, logs, or a working screen.
- Clear written English.
- Comfortable working independently in a small remote team during Eastern Time hours.
- Experience with MySQL, Docker, CI/CD, and AWS or GCP.
- Experience building product features on LLM APIs, such as the Claude API, tool use, or agents.
- Experience with data privacy and security in SaaS, especially credit, identity, or financial data.
- Experience in proptech, fintech, or credit reporting.
- Experience helping other engineers improve their use of AI tools.
