About the role

Technical Writer in Unified Content Services team creating user-friendly content and documentation. Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and accessible information in both French and English.

Responsibilities

Understand complex technical concepts by testing software and conducting interviews with developers, sales engineers, and technical support agents
Collaborate with product managers to make our offerings easier to use and reduce reliance on exhaustive documentation
Work as part of a team, write in an accessible style, and collaborate with content creators across the organization to develop and document content guidelines
Gather and incorporate feedback from internal and external customers
Specify, design, and create content (text, graphics, video) for both technical and non-technical audiences
Create and update other learning materials, such as technical illustrations

You thrive in fast-paced environments and can make sound decisions
You have prior experience communicating complex technical information to different audiences (beginner, intermediate, and advanced), in text, graphics, or video formats
Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete a variety of tasks independently while consistently producing high-quality content
Excellent interview skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and subject-matter experts
Strong knowledge of technical writing methods, trends, and technologies such as structured authoring, DITA, single-sourcing, data reuse, etc.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (this role requires interaction with our international colleagues and clients)
