About the role

  • Field Technician operating mobile wastewater treatment systems for GFL Environmental. Testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment across Atlantic Canada project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute a wide variety of projects
  • Execute jobs safely and efficiently
  • Ensure on-site operations comply with corporate policies, procedures, permit conditions, and customer specifications
  • Operate mobile wastewater treatment systems, including real-time testing, troubleshooting, and adjustment
  • Maintain equipment for efficient operation
  • Maintain working relationships with coworkers, contractors, and municipal inspectors
  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide mobile wastewater treatment solutions to industrial plants, construction companies, consulting/engineering companies, and mining industries throughout Atlantic Canada

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5 license is required
  • Class 3 license an asset
  • Must have experience in Water Treatment
  • Mechanical inclination
  • Confined Space Experience
  • Display flexibility and confidentiality
  • Highly driven, focused and self-motivated
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Potential Overnight travel up to 50% of the time
  • Potential 10-12 hour shifts
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required
  • Must provide valid documentation confirming eligibility to work prior to start date
