About the role

  • Organizational Development & Talent Advisor at Giant Tiger focusing on talent and organizational practices. Supporting HR and operational leaders while developing tools and frameworks for internal mobility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain organizational design tools, documentation, and role structures that support Giant Tiger’s Accountability Management System (AMS)
  • Maintain enterprise succession planning tools and talent review resources that improve visibility into leadership readiness and workforce risks
  • Produce workforce, succession, and organizational insights through reporting, analysis, and HR data interpretation
  • Implement and maintain career pathing frameworks and supporting resources that enable internal mobility and employee development
  • Provide guidance and training to HR Business Partners and business leaders on organizational design and talent frameworks
  • Develop practical tools, process documentation, job aids, and training materials that support consistent adoption of OD and talent processes across the organization
  • Execute components of enterprise organizational development and talent initiatives, projects, and annual talent cycles

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Organizational Design, or a related HR function.
  • Experience supporting organizational design, succession planning, or talent review processes.
  • Experience building and maintaining HR frameworks, tools, templates, or documentation.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience working with workforce or HR data.
  • Ability to simplify concepts into practical tools, resources, and training materials.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to support both HR and business leaders.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
  • Assets You May Have: CHRP, CHRL, or equivalent HR designation.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Experience working in retail, distribution, or another multi-site environment.
  • Experience creating HR dashboards, workforce reporting, or training resources.
