About the role

  • Lead domain areas of testing for ADAS controllers at GM in a hybrid work arrangement. Collaborate with teams for developing automated testing scripts and troubleshooting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the domain areas of Diagnostics and Communication in legacy and new vehicle platforms
  • Liaison with requirement, test procedure and SME group
  • Deliver and automate test scripts in Autobot
  • Troubleshoot bench issues and resolve difficult test issues in the domain areas
  • Lead the team members to achieve high standard of script robustness to ensure script performance on different bench/controller combinations
  • Develop best practices and peer review checklists in the domain areas for testing
  • Train other team members in the domain areas
  • Be a part of the team to develop CI/CD testing pipeline for validation
  • Support continuous development of new test features, processes, and methodologies
  • Work collaboratively with test framework teams to achieve framework stability for testing
  • Identify and/or develop all keywords in Robot framework necessary for testing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software/Computer/Electrical/Embedded Systems/Electronics Engineering or equivalent field
  • 3+ year experience on open loop benches, software development and test automation
  • Prior software experience, preferably in Python, C or C++ with exposure to bash and Jenkins automation
  • Knowledge and experience in testing open loop benches with AI tools like Cursor
  • Knowledge of serial data communications, diagnostics, cybersecurity, OTA and reprogramming for ADAS controllers
  • Knowledge of calibration/MAC/ARXML/ODX and their impacts on testing
  • Knowledge of SW version control tools & repositories like GIT and GitHub
  • Ability to independently investigate issues based on limited information, demonstrating high level of analytical ability to resolve complex problems
  • Creative, disciplined, strong sense of responsibility, delivery, and schedule commitment
  • Must be legally allowed to work in Canada and be able to travel to the US
  • Must have a valid Canadian driver’s license.
