About the role

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software modules related to IP telephony
- Contribute to the evolution of communication platforms and solutions
- Develop services, APIs, and integration tools for third-party systems
- Work with SIP and RTP protocols
- Troubleshoot issues related to calls, signaling, and audio quality
- Analyze network traces to identify anomalies
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests
- Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and technical support teams
- Document solutions and contribute to the continuous improvement of practices
Requirements
- College diploma or university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of software development experience
- Experience developing solutions based on Asterisk and/or FreePBX
- Strong understanding of SIP, AS-SIP, and RTP protocols
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: PHP, Python, C/C++, JavaScript, or Shell
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative
- Bilingual in French and English
- Assets: VoIP security (TLS, SRTP, and SIP authentication), CI/CD, Docker or Kubernetes, Agile environments, unified communications
