About the role
- Product Manager responsible for power forecasting products at DNV, leveraging AI and data science for improved decision-making. Driving product strategy and innovation in renewable energy systems.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for power forecasting products
- Define and execute product strategy aligned with customer needs and market dynamics
- Drive commercial performance, including pricing, packaging, and positioning
- Identify and deliver novel power forecasting capabilities that leverage the best of physical and AI modeling techniques to deliver unique customer value
- Design and implement agentic workflows that automate forecasting, diagnostics, and optimization tasks
- Translate new AI/ML capabilities into clear, scalable product features and user value
- Partner with data science teams on model development, validation, and performance monitoring from inception to full commercialization
- Manage product backlogs, releases, and priorities in collaboration with engineering teams
- Define requirements and acceptance criteria; lead product validation and iteration
- Use data and experimentation to continuously improve product performance
- Conduct customer discovery and workflow analysis
- Engage directly with customers to understand operational and trading use cases
- Support go-to-market activities, including sales enablement and product positioning
- Collaborate across engineering, data science, UX, and commercial teams
- Align stakeholders and drive execution across a distributed, global organization
- Contribute to best practices for product management within GDP
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, atmospheric science, or a related field
- 5+ years of product management experience in digital, data, or SaaS products
- Experience managing products across the full lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data-driven environments
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
