About the role
- Mechanical Warranty Claims Adjuster analyzing and adjudicating warranty claims for various vehicles across Canada. Collaborating with internal teams and managing complaints in a flexible, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and adjudicating mechanical warranty claims for various types of vehicles (automobiles, RVs, trailers, motorcycles, ATVs, marine products).
- Processing claims, determining eligibility, and authorizing repairs in accordance with active contracts.
- Assigning inspectors when required and identifying abusive or potentially fraudulent claims.
- Communicating decisions to claimants and answering questions regarding coverage or the claims process.
- Calculating and issuing required payments.
- Following up on files and collaborating closely with internal teams.
- Managing level 1 complaints and escalating those requiring higher-level follow-up.
- Performing any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Holds a college degree or an Attestation of College Studies in mechanics, or any other relevant training related to the field.
- Has experience in mechanics or technical analysis (recent graduates will also be considered).
- Is recognized for strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Stands out for the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency with technological tools and data-entry software.
- Has an advanced level of English, as the role requires daily communication with dealerships, partners, and repair shops located elsewhere in Canada.
