About the role

Solution Architect designing DLP and DSPM capabilities for iA Financial Group’s insurance, savings, and wealth management ecosystem. Translating security and compliance needs into governed data protection architectures.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve solution architectures related to data protection and contribute to establishing the target-state vision
Translate business, security, risk, compliance and regulatory requirements into concrete and achievable architecture solutions
Design architectures that address data protection throughout the entire data lifecycle
Produce and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, impact assessments and recommendations
Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture directions, security frameworks and iA standards
Participate in architecture governance forums and reviews, and present recommendations as required
Identify risks, impacts, dependencies and integration challenges, and recommend mitigation strategies
Work closely with security specialists, designers, delivery teams, product owners and other architects
Act as a trusted advisor and provide architectural guidance to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to standardization and reuse of data protection capabilities, models and reference architectures
Contribute to the roadmap and long-term evolution of data protection capabilities
Collaborate across cybersecurity, cloud computing, infrastructure, applications, data and delivery

Significant experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within a large or complex organization
Experience in cybersecurity or information security, with a strong understanding of data protection challenges
Experience designing data protection controls across Microsoft 365, cloud environments, SaaS applications and data platforms
Ability to design solution architectures and produce structured deliverables such as diagrams, architecture documentation and impact assessments
Experience working in an environment with formal architecture governance and review processes
Ability to translate complex issues into clear, pragmatic and achievable directions and solutions
Strong understanding of information technology, security, cloud environments and data protection principles
Ability to assess impacts, risks, dependencies and integrations across different solutions and platforms
Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Autonomy, curiosity and ability to take ownership of complex issues and move discussions toward decisions
Proficiency in both French and English
