About the role
- Senior Solutions Architect designing API integrations, demos, and AI-powered solutions for RapidSOS, a public safety AI company. Leading technical pre-sales engagements with emergency-response customers.
Responsibilities
- Own technical customer engagement during pre-sales by building and presenting product demos and creating pilot and proof-of-concept implementations
- Design technical solutions connecting RapidSOS APIs and integrations to emergency response workflows and customer products
- Build and deliver customized technical presentations and demonstrations
- Partner with Account Executives on account strategies, execution, value proposition, and trusted-advisor relationships
- Create documentation, specifications, and SOWs translating customer requirements for Product and Engineering
- Assess scope, feasibility, and technical risk and resolve challenges with customers and internal teams
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Public Safety
- Use AI to build, prototype, and solve customer and team problems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, including 3+ years in a technical customer-facing capacity
- Experience with complex API-based or SaaS products
- Proficient programming ability in any language, with Python preferred
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Ability to translate client needs into clear technical solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving instincts and an innovative streak
- Flexibility in a high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Hands-on experience building with AI tools and an AI-forward mindset
- Ability to travel up to 25%
