About the role

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to identify manual tasks that can be automated and transform them into clearly defined use cases with the CTO
- Design and develop custom MCP servers connecting AI models to internal systems and data
- Evaluate, configure, and integrate existing MCP servers, connectors, and AI tools
- Recommend purchasing solutions when it is preferable to developing them in-house
- Develop AI agents and automated workflows that execute end-to-end processes
- Deploy solutions to production while ensuring their security, monitoring, documentation, and operational support
- Apply security and data management policies, including access control, data classification, and customer data protection
- Measure the time savings and quality improvements generated by deployed tools
- Train teams and foster the development of internal champions capable of creating simple automations
- Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on priorities, requirements, and technical direction
Requirements
- 2–4 years of software development experience, including designing applications based on large language model (LLM) APIs; professional, academic, or personal projects will be considered
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms and APIs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Azure OpenAI, including model tool use
- Familiarity with the MCP protocol or other mechanisms for integrating tools with LLMs
- Strong Python or TypeScript skills and experience working with REST APIs
- Practical knowledge of the OAuth protocol
- Experience deploying cloud solutions, ideally in an Azure environment
- Good understanding of security risks associated with AI systems, including authorization management, prompt injection attacks, and data leakage
- Curiosity about the workflows of non-technical teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional proficiency in English
- Experience in CAE, simulation, PLM, engineering software, professional services, or software reselling is an asset
- Experience with NetSuite, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams is an asset
- Experience with Power Automate, n8n, or Zapier is an asset
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 data governance, particularly Microsoft Purview, is an asset
- Self-motivated, with the ability to grow into greater solution design responsibilities
