About the role

  • Regional sales director growing commercial and residential insurance accounts across Atlantic Canada. Driving revenue, market share, partnerships, and service delivery for a property restoration franchise network.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and build new account relationships while growing and maintaining the existing account base in the property mitigation and restoration industry
  • Implement direct partner programs with new and existing commercial clients and local insurance carriers
  • Maintain and increase revenue and market share while supporting service delivery
  • Build and secure new accounts, referrals, and relationships with key decision-makers through leads, cold calling, and sales presentations
  • Expand market share within existing accounts in assigned areas
  • Communicate with, train, and motivate network offices to support Business Development
  • Negotiate and complete Master Service Agreements with commercial partners and residential insurance clients
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, make regular sales calls, close deals, and finalize agreements
  • Meet established sales quotas and revenue and growth goals
  • Develop business relationships and insurance programs with property insurance carriers
  • Manage accounts, including dispute resolution, problem avoidance, and service-level compliance
  • Facilitate service opportunities with the PDRI Business Development team
  • Maintain knowledge of Paul Davis Restoration services and products
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and communicate regularly with the Senior Vice President, Business Development
  • Analyze and recommend programs and procedures
  • Use approved CRM software to maintain contacts, document interactions, and log meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow Paul Davis Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving Basics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • College diploma or Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
  • Sales experience; 5+ years is a plus
  • Sales experience with demonstrated negotiation and marketing skills
  • Previous CRM software experience considered an asset
  • General knowledge of the insurance industry and claims
  • Necessary industry trade certifications
  • Computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze, diffuse, and solve problem situations
  • Knowledge of cost analysis techniques
  • Ability to make independent decisions and evaluate judgments
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Initiative, accountability, leadership, organization, and self-motivation
  • Ability to organize and schedule assignments to meet priorities and deadlines
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Restoration, insurance, commercial, or facility sales experience is an asset
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
  • Stable internet connection when working out of office
  • Ability to use provided VPN technology
  • Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, up to 50%
  • Ability to meet the listed physical requirements, including occasional lifting and movement
