About the role

  • Entry-level Project Manager at Ipsos coordinating qualitative market research projects. This role offers hands-on experience in project management with potential long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing project cost estimates by sourcing and evaluating quotes from facilities, recruiters, and other vendors
  • Supports creation of pricing proposals based on project specifications, methodology requirements, and client budget parameters
  • Maintains and updates vendor/supplier database with current pricing and contact information to support efficient proposal development
  • Collaborates with research leads to ensure proposals are competitive and feasible
  • Initiates, organizes and executes fielding of qualitative market research projects with direction and oversight from project team
  • Builds detailed project plans including all specifications for recruiting, in-person or virtual logistics, budget, suppliers and confirms plans with project team
  • Selects suppliers with guidance from research team and oversees vendor relationship throughout project
  • Supports on screener design and works with recruitment vendor to execute the project
  • Communicates daily with vendors and project team to provide ongoing communication and updates
  • Tracks project financials throughout the project lifecycle, including monitoring actual costs against budget, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, reconciling discrepancies, and following up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
  • Maintains project documentation for audit and replication purposes

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field required; coursework or certification in project management principles is ideal. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience developing cost estimates and sourcing vendor pricing preferred
  • Demonstrate ability managing multiple tasks simultaneously with high levels of detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and team-oriented – ability to work effectively with internal operations, research teams, clients, and vendors to identify needs, ensure clear understanding, and translate those needs into successful project outcomes
  • General numeric aptitude/ financial skills – able to work with costing models and manage to details of project specifications
  • Problem Solving orientation – experience managing through problems in terms of pinpointing issues and form solutions
  • Detail Orientation – ability to balance overall project goals with multitude of logistics requirements, key milestones and task coordination
  • Strong oral/written communication skills – able to understand/interpret, clarify and confirm others' communications/requests
  • Proficient in MS Office (esp. Word and Excel)
