About the role

  • Site Merchandising Specialist optimizing Knix’s intimate apparel eCommerce experience. Managing product launches, site content, catalog data, testing, and conversion-focused merchandising.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily site merchandising for Knix.com and Knix.ca, considering aesthetics, brand, and inventory availability
  • Assist in developing weekly, monthly, and quarterly merchandising plans supporting product launches and customer experience
  • Develop post-mortems and actionable merchandising recommendations for campaigns and collections
  • Execute new product and colour launches, campaigns, promotions, and site changes
  • Maintain complete and accurate product catalogue data reflecting available inventory for eCommerce and retail
  • Upload and maintain site assets, including images, copy, and UGC, according to brand guidelines
  • Merchandise the site daily based on inventory levels from Operations and Product
  • Monitor the site for errors and track required updates
  • Conduct QA testing before new site content, products, or promotions go live with the Dev/eCommerce product team
  • Use data to recommend site improvements, develop A/B test hypotheses, and execute tests
  • Support catalogue and merchandising optimization, including seasonal product onboarding and offboarding
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and bring best-in-class merchandising recommendations
  • Own the on-site customer experience from product onboarding and homepage planning to landing page optimization, on-site search, navigation, and content updates
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, Product, and Operations to improve site experience and support GRND targets

Requirements

  • 3+ years' merchandising experience in an eCommerce retail environment
  • Professional working experience in Shopify is considered a strong asset
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics/web analytics and SEO
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for improving websites, merchandising, and customer experience
  • Data-oriented approach and ability to tell stories from large data sets
  • Effective time management, problem-solving, risk evaluation, initiative, and collaboration skills
