About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing major projects within finance, engineering, and quality at L3Harris Technologies. Engaging with stakeholders and managing project risks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manages major projects and programs across the company's functions, including finance, engineering, procurement, production and quality.
  • Leads strategic projects and supports bid responses and commercial proposals.
  • Provides guidance and makes decisions on project-related issues.
  • Ensures compliance with internal procedures and project control directives.
  • Acts as the interface and manages relationships and expectations of national and international clients.
  • Collaborates with all stakeholders and departments to ensure technical requirements, schedules and budgets are met.
  • Manages suppliers, subcontractors and product manufacturers for projects.
  • Assesses project risks and develops mitigation plans where appropriate.
  • Reviews project expenditures, collections and cost-to-complete forecasts.
  • Prepares and submits monthly progress reports and leads/participates in internal monthly project status reviews.
  • Keeps senior management fully informed of project progress.
  • Available for business travel up to 10% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or management.
  • More than 10 years' experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • PMP certification would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with standards related to nuclear applications would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems, digital control platforms and plant automation architectures would be an asset.
  • Proven experience managing the full project lifecycle, from requirements definition through design, integration, testing, commissioning and handover.
  • Strong expertise in planning and overseeing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), simulation/testing programs and commissioning activities.
  • Recognized ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and to foster collaborative problem-solving among engineering, operations and field service teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Extensive experience managing supplier interfaces, engineering deliverables and baseline configurations.
  • Skills in risk management, schedule development, earned value tracking and cost control for multi‑million‑dollar projects.
  • Effective communicator capable of conveying project status, constraints and decisions to technical teams, senior management and external partners.
  • Proven experience implementing robust change management processes and maintaining stakeholder alignment.
  • Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools (PMBOK, hybrid Agile approaches, MS Project, SharePoint, collaborative project management platforms).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
