About the role

  • Senior Product Manager for B2B SaaS company in Canada shaping product vision and strategy. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver competitive software solutions for enterprise clients in a hybrid model.

Responsibilities

  • Define, communicate, and continuously evolve the product vision and multi-year roadmap for our SaaS platform and EDI suite, ensuring alignment with company objectives and our overall product strategy.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential threats in the B2B commerce and EDI landscape.
  • Partner with senior leadership to translate business strategy into actionable product priorities and investment decisions.
  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT, XML/AS2) and their application within supply chain and distribution workflows.
  • Lead structured customer discovery sessions to uncover unmet needs, validate hypotheses, and inform prioritization decisions.
  • Build trusted relationships with key enterprise accounts, acting as a strategic partner who deeply understands their business processes and pain points.
  • Advocate for customer needs and ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, and Finance to synthesize diverse inputs and maintain a single, coherent product perspective.
  • Develop and present compelling business cases and product proposals to senior leadership, clearly articulating customer value, market size, and expected ROI.
  • Own and maintain a prioritized, outcome-oriented product roadmap in alignment with customer needs, strategic objectives, and technical constraints.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker for product scope and prioritization.
  • Work closely with Development teams throughout the product lifecycle, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Write clear and complete epics, user stories and acceptance criteria that give a clear picture of the “forest through the trees” and enable the engineering team to build with confidence.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on release planning, go-to-market readiness, and post-launch evaluation.
  • Make informed trade-off decisions and communicate prioritization rationale transparently to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, including feature specifications and release notes.
  • Define and own the KPIs and success metrics for the platform, including adoption, engagement, retention, and revenue impact indicators.
  • Establish a rigorous approach to feature measurement and outcome tracking.
  • Leverage customer usage data, NPS feedback, and support trends to inform continuous product improvement.
  • Deliver regular product performance reporting to leadership and key stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Share knowledge and best practices in Product Management to the rest of the product team, helping to develop the overall talent at LBMX.
  • Champion Agile best practices and contribute to the ongoing maturation of our product development process across the organization.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a B2B Enterprise SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder software products from ideation through launch and iteration.
  • Demonstrated experience driving outcomes following product launches as well as implementing corrective actions based on metrics / KPI’s that have led directly to measured improvements.
  • Prior experience leading Agile development teams, with strong command of Scrum and / or Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience working with or managing EDI integration products, platforms, or services (X12, EDIFACT, AS2, SFTP-based workflows) is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience managing products in supply chain, logistics, distribution, or EDI-adjacent domains is considered an asset.
