About the role
- Area Service Manager diagnosing, repairing, and supporting LEMKEN agricultural machinery across Western Canada. Training farmers and dealer technicians while delivering demonstrations, warranty service, and exhibition support.
Responsibilities
- Independently demonstrate equipment from the entire LEMKEN product portfolio
- Conduct first use of sold equipment in collaboration with LEMKEN sales partners
- Provide technical support and guidance to farmers and dealer technicians
- Conduct training courses for dealer technicians
- Train farmers on optimal equipment use with sales partners
- Perform service interventions and warranty work as part of after-sales service
- Set up and tear down local trade shows and in-house exhibitions
- Actively participate during exhibitions
Requirements
- Certification or degree in Agricultural Technology, Diesel Mechanics, or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience working with agricultural equipment, particularly planters and seeders
- Familiarity with precision agriculture systems (e.g., John Deere, Case IH, or Ag Leader)
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of planting systems, seed metering mechanisms, and soil preparation equipment
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate farm equipment is a plus
- Based out of Western Canada
