About the role

  • Talent Acquisition Partner owning hiring across Liferaft, a Halifax-based OSINT SaaS company. Building AI-enabled recruitment, onboarding, learning, retention and employer brand programs.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment across all functions from intake and role scoping through sourcing, assessment, offer and close
  • Set criteria, structured interviews and scorecards with hiring managers; maintain hiring standards
  • Build proactive pipelines and use competitor hiring, talent availability and compensation data to inform workforce planning and hiring decisions
  • Administer Workable, reporting, templates and candidate data; track recruitment metrics and hiring plan attainment
  • Manage recruitment vendors, job boards and search firms; coordinate background checks and offer documentation
  • Support internal career ladders and job description leveling against Pave, Mercer and Securitas job architecture
  • Build and run AI workflows for sourcing, screening, interviewing, market research and pipeline analysis
  • Apply AI to lifecycle processes, feedback analysis and reporting; measure time and cost savings
  • Own onboarding through 30-, 60- and 90-day plans, including manager readiness
  • Build and maintain onboarding programs and knowledge bases covering the platform, customers, industry and competitors
  • Run quarterly learning programs and facilitate expert-led sessions
  • Own exit interviews and offboarding; identify departure trends and address causes
  • Own recognition programs, employee referrals, employer brand and careers content
  • Help managers identify retention risks and support eNPS and pulse survey follow-up actions
  • Report to the Director, People & Culture and work alongside the People Operations Specialist

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full cycle recruitment, with at least 3 in B2B SaaS, ideally through a scaling stage
  • Experience as a sole or lead recruiter with no coordinator or sourcer support, delivering 20+ quality hires a year across functions
  • Technical hiring across engineering, data, AI/ML, product and design
  • Enterprise GTM hiring across account executives, sales engineers and customer success
  • Hands on ATS administration; Workable an asset
  • Real examples of using AI to improve recruitment or people operations results
  • Experience owning onboarding, offboarding or other lifecycle programs alongside recruitment
  • Knowledge of hiring, offer, candidate data and recordkeeping requirements in Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec
  • Experience recruiting in specialized markets with small candidate pools
  • Highly autonomous and organized; able to manage multiple searches and lifecycle priorities
  • Strong written communication and facilitation skills
  • CPHR designation or a recruitment certification is an asset
