IT Support Coordinator facilitating IT support functions and administrative tasks at InterVISTAS Consulting Inc. in a hybrid work model based in Vancouver, BC.
Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day IT support activities in alignment with Service Management practices, supporting Incident Management and Service Request fulfilment to ensure timely resolution and consistent service delivery against agreed service standards.
Coordinate incidents and service requests involving external vendors or managed service providers, track supplier responses, following up on outstanding actions, and supporting ongoing operational oversight of supplier's performance.
Provide clear, professional communication to end users regarding IT issues, system changes, and planned maintenance, and support new hire onboarding and employee offboarding activities, including access coordination, equipment logistics and asset disposal and recycling.
Maintain accurate support records and documentation, assist with the upkeep of knowledge articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and asset records, and support basic IT reporting and service metrics.
Support system access, client portals, shared workspaces, and project drives, aligning with InterVISTAS security requirements such as MFA, encryption, and secure file transfer, assisting with technology-related audit requests, and providing practical guidance to teams on secure collaboration with clients using approved platforms and external sharing controls.
Requirements
Completion of a diploma, or relevant post-secondary education in business information technology management or a related field.
At least 2-4 years of prior work experience in IT support, coordination or administrative roles.
Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage expectations professionally.
Understanding of common IT end user hardware, technical understanding of end user computing, SaaS applications, and workplace IT tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).
Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Exposure to asset management systems and compliance processes within an IT environment.
Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) or similar applications are an essential requirement for this position.
Self-starter with a driven personality, willingness to learn, and an eagerness to take on challenges and strive towards goals.
Strong organizational skills, with a particular focus on the ability to manage one's time between multiple tasks and competing deadlines.

Benefits
