About the role

  • Critical Care Business Manager expanding Keenova’s inhaled nitric oxide therapy across Canadian hospitals. Managing hospital accounts, sales targets, training, contracts, and field-based device support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide brand information to key Neonatologists, Respiratory Therapists and decision makers in centres where the company device is used
  • Uncover growth opportunities for the company device
  • Represent key hospitals in partnership with the contracting group to track and maintain existing contracts
  • Provide accurate forecasting of planned medical device use for targeted hospitals
  • Manage annual preventative maintenance schedules for devices in the territory with customer care specialists and technical engineers
  • Deliver the brand revenue target in the assigned territory
  • Train Respiratory Therapists and Allied Health Care Professionals to deliver device treatment safely and effectively
  • Partner with Medical to implement HCP learning programs aligned with HCP needs and brand strategy
  • Deliver sales targets for defined accounts
  • Build and implement detailed business development action plans
  • Build regional account plans and track activities and performance
  • Maintain current knowledge of hospital contracts
  • Collaborate with Medical, Field Technical Support, Clinical and Scientific Development, and other departments
  • Provide in-service product and therapeutic education to healthcare professionals
  • Adhere to the company code of ethics and pharmacovigilance process

Requirements

  • Respiratory Therapist trained
  • Experience with commercialization of Medical Devices and Hospital Account Management
  • Minimum of 5 years’ hospital sales experience
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Good understanding of healthcare and hospital ecosystem
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong presentation, project management and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills/abilities and a track record of working in a collaborative environment
  • A strong record of sales performance and success
  • Management/supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Expertise in healthcare industry sales and business planning preferred
  • Business or science degree ideal, but not required
  • Ability to travel throughout Ontario and Manitoba
