About the role

  • Payroll Specialist managing payroll and PAD files for Group Benefits division in a fast-paced environment. Coordinating efforts to provide world-class benefits administration and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll files, which includes setting up the system, scheduling, quality-check, and sending files to clients
  • Manage pre-authorized debit (PAD) files, which includes running queries, building the PAD file, and uploading it into the treasury system
  • Document the custom processes for payroll and PAD
  • Attend meetings with clients as the subject-matter expert

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in the financial industry and specifically Group Benefits
  • Prior experience in a payroll environment or working with payroll files
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and are comfortable learning new applications and tools
