About the role

  • Senior Payroll Accountant ensuring accurate payroll calculation and compliance across jurisdictions at GR8 Tech. Overseeing payroll processing, accounting records, and coordination with internal teams and external payroll providers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure compliance with labor law, tax regulations, and reporting requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Control remunerations accruals and open debt.
  • Analyse labor law in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Create payment orders.
  • Maintain payroll accounting records in 1C and MS Business Central.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations in 1C.
  • Prepare payroll-related journal entries, analytics, and reconciliations.
  • Provide payroll data for financial reporting.
  • Apply internal controls and risk management practices in payroll accounting.
  • Manage payroll audits and support general financial audits.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve payroll issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries (HR, FOP HUB, Treasury, Accounting).
  • Ensure timely information exchange between internal teams and external payroll providers.
  • Conduct research with payroll providers in new locations and participate in establishing new procedures.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting / Economics / Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting and Payroll.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and payroll accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of labor law, tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Analytical skills and ability to identify discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and risk management in payroll accounting.
  • Experience with payroll or financial audits.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and ERP payroll modules (including 1C and MS Business Central).
  • English Upper-intermediate or higher.
  • Ukrainian proficiency.
