About the role
- Payroll Analyst processing Canadian payroll for Solventum. Ensuring compliance with legislation and collaborating with HR and Finance teams for data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end biweekly/monthly payroll for Canadian employees
- Review and validate payroll inputs
- Ensure payroll compliance with CRA requirements
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies
- Administer statutory remittances
- Support T4 and RL-1 preparation
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams
- Assist in payroll system upgrades
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 4 years of experience in payroll systems
- 1 year of experience processing Canadian payroll systems
- Solid understanding of Canadian payroll legislation
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Workday
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
- Experience in a multi-provincial payroll environment
- Bilingual in English and French
- Knowledge of U.S. payroll experience
