About the role
- Associate Manager handling team administration and client relations in disability case management at Manulife. Guiding a specialized team to support clients' disability management needs.
Responsibilities
- Inspire staff to achieve great group disability results
- Hire, develop, and retain industry top talent
- Proactively monitor workflow, overall service delivery, and conduct performance management
- Ensure effective disability management practices are appropriately utilized
- Collaborate with overall disability management team to deliver exceptional client relations
- Meet and connect regularly with clients through a variety of communication methods
- Utilize data to identify trends and areas of improvement
- Foster a continuous improvement culture
Requirements
- Fully bilingual (French/English)
- Knowledge in medical terminology, treatment, and/or physical/mental functional ability assessment
- Knowledge of Group Disability and best-in-class case management practices
- Completion of post-secondary education in health sciences field
- 2+ years of work experience in a clinical setting in a health-related field
- 3-4 years of managing health recovery absences
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of duty to accommodate and Privacy & confidentiality legislation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
