About the role
- Public Safety Consultant configuring Mark43’s Records Management System for public safety agencies. Training users, guiding implementations, and driving workflow adoption across customer deployments.
Responsibilities
- Leverage specialized knowledge in Records Management System (RMS) products and workflows to optimize public safety agency operations
- Define and test product features, workflows, and technical configurations for each agency
- Oversee configuration and business process analysis across public safety agencies
- Work with Reporting, Case Management, Evidence, and Warrants products
- Train agencies on Mark43 RMS product-suite best practices
- Guide change management and product adoption processes
- Establish RMS workstream best practices across Mark43 customers and oversee product implementation
- Oversee end-to-end testing of RMS workstreams, integrations, and hardware components
- Guide change management and ensure new features are successfully deployed and understood
- Gather product feedback and help the Product team establish development priorities
- Vet customer workflows for downstream planning
- Convey team metrics and project risks to project managers for staffing, budgeting, and planning
- Update training materials with the Training team
- Travel at least 50%
Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the country in which the role is being hired

- At least 2 to 5 years of experience working as a product consultant or public safety employee, with a focus on RMS
- Willingness to be hands-on during planning and delivery
- Experience developing, communicating, and training on workflows and best practices
- Ability to create buy-in across diverse groups of users and lead change management efforts
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
- Ability to quickly learn new technology features and determine benefits for user groups
- Excellent interpersonal skills and multitasking ability
- Ability to perform the position in one of the approved hiring locations: Canada, the UK, or listed U.S. states
