About the role
- Inbound call representative supporting customers for MCI’s remote CX and BPO services. Handling inquiries, documenting interactions, and escalating complex issues from home.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Assist customers with inquiries
- Provide accurate information about products and services
- Document customer interactions in the system
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance
- Work from home while delivering exceptional customer service
- Sit or stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset
- Operate a computer, phone, copier, and printer
- Occasionally move about the office, reach, raise or lower objects, and move or exert force up to 40 pounds
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit to a Level II background and/or security investigation with fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening; does not apply in Canada
- Must complete a full application including screening questions and a brief pre-employment test
