About the role

  • Bilingual representative supporting Medavie’s national health insurance members across Canada. Providing phone and email service, problem-solving, and member assistance remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Support and service members across Canada
  • Provide the highest level of customer service possible
  • Effectively problem-solve member and caller needs
  • Contribute positively to a team environment
  • Support callers while navigating multiple applications
  • Work assigned Monday-Friday evening shifts after training within 8:00 AM–9:00 PM AT operating hours
  • Complete Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM AT virtual training beginning on the first day
  • Participate in shift bids twice per year, selecting alternate available hours based on seniority and business needs

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary or equivalent experience
  • Fluently bilingual (English & French) written and spoken is required
  • Strong communication skills through email and phone
  • Strong attention to detail in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to sit while using a computer and headset for prolonged periods
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to navigate multiple applications
  • Problem-solving ability and ability to learn quickly
  • Designated private remote workspace with a locked door and secure perimeter
  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace without conflicting responsibilities during scheduled hours
