About the role

  • Director of Product leading strategy and commercial performance for POS-focused solutions at Moneris. Overseeing product management teams and aligning cross-functional initiatives in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Set and evolve the strategic vision for the portfolio, including new product development, feature enhancements, modernization of legacy capabilities, and retirement of outdated solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of merchant needs, market and macro trends, competitive dynamics, and relevant emerging technologies.
  • Lead and develop product teams by setting direction, building and managing roadmaps, and aligning priorities across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, UX, Finance, and external partners.
  • Own product positioning, go-to-market strategy, pricing and packaging, sales enablement, operational readiness, and ongoing lifecycle performance.
  • Oversee agile product delivery, including roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, release readiness, and cross‑functional coordination.
  • Maintain visibility into initiative scope, delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, and investment considerations.
  • Own aggregate product P&L and measure portfolio performance across growth, retention, margin, merchant outcomes, and return on investment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive product management experience, ideally in POS, payments, fintech, commerce, SaaS, retail technology, or SMB-focused solutions.
  • Proven experience leading and developing product management teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of product management methodologies, processes, and performance reporting.
  • Experience operating in retail, service-based, payments, or software-led product environments.
  • Demonstrated commercial ownership, including P&L accountability, business case development, product performance analysis, and return on investment evaluation.
