Joining Morgan Stanley's HR Generative AI team as a Product Owner. Defining and delivering product capabilities for AI-powered HR Virtual Agent in Montreal.
Responsibilities
Define and manage the product backlog, ensuring work reflects business needs, user feedback, and the evolution of the AskHR Virtual Agent.
Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria, including the data, workflow, and AI driven interactions required for a reliable employee experience.
Partner with HR Service Delivery, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape scope, align dependencies and guide delivery plans.
Oversee iterative delivery of core features, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), structured intake flows, process automation and data-driven services to improve accuracy, routing and employee self-service.
Leverage usage data, quality signals, and feedback to refine product features, enhance personalization, and identify opportunities for proactive agent driven automation.
Support release planning and readiness activities, maintaining stakeholder alignment on product progress and ensuring updates adhere to content governance, data quality, and responsible use expectations for AI-driven capabilities.
Requirements
At least 4 years' relevant experience in a product-centric environment or experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role.
Preferred candidates will have a background in delivering AI-enabled features, complex workflow automation, or large-scale enterprise solutions.
Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable backlog items, with well-defined behaviors, rules, and user experience expectations.
Comfort with Agile practices and the ability to balance near-term needs with longer-term product evolution.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams to resolve priorities, manage trade-offs and drive delivery.
Data-driven product mindset, including defining success metrics and using dashboards/analytics to spot trends, prioritize improvements, and measure impact.
Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex concepts in practical, accessible terms.
Familiarity with HR service delivery processes, and HR platforms such as Workday or similar enterprise systems, and/or tools for building conversational and AI-enabled experiences (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio or similar) preferred.
