About the role
- QA Automation Specialist responsible for increasing tests for a mobile app. Developing and maintaining automated test suites integrated into CI/CD pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive automated test suites for our mobile application (React Native) 80% and Web 20%
- Achieve and maintain 70% test coverage for our critical mobile & web use cases
- Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline based on GitHub Actions
- Design test strategies covering iOS, Android & Web platforms
- Maintain and optimize existing test frameworks
- Collaborate with our development team (we use Cypress for web automation)
- Perform exploratory and manual regression testing on new features
- Identify and document bugs, UX issues and potential improvements
- Validate bug fixes and new releases before deployment
- Create and maintain manual test plans for complex scenarios
- Test the user experience across different devices and configurations
- Work closely with developers and the product team to understand technical requirements
- Recommend process improvements and QA best practices
- Document testing strategies and procedures for the team
Requirements
- Mobile automation: 3+ years of proven experience with frameworks such as Jest, Appium or equivalent for cross-platform mobile automation
- Programming: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Manual testing: Strong experience with manual testing methodologies (test plan creation, execution, reporting)
- Bilingual: Fluent communication in French AND English (written and spoken)
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with React Native and an understanding of its architecture
- Familiarity with Cypress or similar web automation tools
- Experience in the fitness industry or B2B SaaS
