About the role

  • Boutique Assistant Manager leading sales, customer service and team operations for Nespresso coffee boutiques in Winnipeg. Managing KPIs, staffing, inventory and boutique performance.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales and service level targets with the team
  • Maximize guest frequency, sales and acquisition of new customers
  • Maximize capsule, accessories and machine sales
  • Evaluate service quality and use mystery shopper results to implement customer service action plans
  • Implement company programs by motivating and instructing the team
  • Recruit, hire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Plan, communicate and delegate responsibilities with the Boutique Manager
  • Review KPIs and support action plan creation
  • Implement SOPs and guidelines for compliance, risk management, health and safety
  • Monitor and manage schedules
  • Plan and prioritize annual sales and wage cost targets
  • Manage staffing, monthly reports, cash and inventory
  • Support stock operations through spot checks, inventories and deliveries

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of High-Volume Retail Management experience
  • Luxury retail experience is an asset
  • Ability to prioritize and plan multiple priorities
  • Strong team-building skills with a history of effective team coaching and development
  • Effective time management, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Passion for coffee and sustainability
  • Experience in the food or coffee space is an asset
  • Ability to stand for an entire working day
  • Ability to repeatedly lift a maximum of 23 kgs
