About the role

  • Product Designer at nesto shaping exceptional experiences in mortgage financing. Leading design projects and collaborating with teams to enhance the customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for key products and features from concept through to delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define product vision and strategy.
  • Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and animations that impress both stakeholders and users.
  • Take part in design workshops and brainstorming sessions to inspire creativity across teams.
  • Explore solutions, create prototypes, and dive into user feedback and data to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement for each initiative.
  • Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and industry best practices—and bring new ideas to the team.
  • Pay close attention to detail, prioritize simplicity, and seamlessly integrate interconnected projects to turn complex tasks into intuitive experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in digital product design (web, mobile, or SaaS).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI case studies, high-impact product designs, and innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency with Figma or other design tools (a plus if you enjoy exploring code or animation design).
  • Experience organizing user research sessions and using tools such as Maze, UserTesting, or similar.
  • Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to balance business objectives and user needs to create designs that are both functional and visually appealing.
  • Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries—you value efficiency and consistency while keeping the end user in mind.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present your work and lead discussions confidently, including at the highest levels.
  • A curious, problem-solving attitude with a passion for testing new ideas and iterating quickly.
