Project Coordinator overseeing WOO Network activities for Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Supporting trial management and communication between teams in cancer research initiatives.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day Network activities, acting as central point of contact for all active WOO trials; track and provide support to deliver timely WOO trials.
Act as a liaison between WOO trial teams and the WOO Network Executive.
Act as a liaison between Patient Partners and the WOO Network Executive.
Act as central point of contact for WOO cost centre budget, ensuring timely submission of quarterly expense reports to Research Operations.
Plan and coordinate annual Patient Partner Round Tables, gather and analyze feedback on patient partner pain points from the previous year, and develop strategies to enhance their engagement and overall experience.
Support planning for the annual WOO Network Meeting where trial concepts are discussed and prioritized.
Prepare presentations and communication materials for internal and external audiences.
Apply project management best practices, tools, knowledge and expertise in managing Network activities.
Coordinate the development of business cycle strategic plan objectives, milestones and deliverables, yearly work plans, particularly the Network’s Call for Concepts.
Provides coordination of all WOO Network clinical trials.
Track trial activities, analyzing risks, discussing risk mitigation plans where required, and updating the WOO Executive.
Plan, schedule and organize trial team meetings, keeping clear minutes, capture assignment of action items and ensure follow-up.
Requirements
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in health-related discipline or recognized equivalent.
Practical and related experience in clinical trials.
Above average project, team and people management skills.
Excellent skills preparing project/trial documents, spreadsheets, process mapping, and GANTT charts.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
