About the role
- Senior Test Engineer (Manual/Automation) at Insulet Corporation focusing on test strategies and quality assurance. Leading test automation and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop manual test cases and automated test scripts using Python based framework, open-source tools
- Work closely with software engineers to identify, thoroughly document, and resolve defects
- Cross functional collaboration with manual QA engineers, software developers, and Systems engineers to design and develop non-functional automation
- Maintain existing automated test codebases(s) and repositories
- Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices
- Assist in the ideation and introduction of new test methodologies, strategies, and processes
- Provide feedback to development teams to improve product quality and mitigate future issues
- Participation in product design, data analysis, and requirement review activities
Requirements
- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar field preferred.
- 5+ years hands on experience in testing preferred.
- In depth knowledge of software testing methodology, test development, and test execution is required.
- Strong software skills including C ,C++ Java, Python or TestNG.
- Software test group experience.
- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods (i.e., Git, Perforce).
- Familiarity with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA regulations and international standards applicable to medical device software development, verification and validation a plus.
