About the role

  • OpenTable consolidation manager overseeing multi-region financial reporting for restaurant technology business. Leading close processes, analysis, and process improvements across finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the consolidation and month-end close process, managing equity, intercompany transactions, and treasury related transactions.
  • Prepare and distribute reporting timetables aligned with Group reporting requirements.
  • Execute group reporting deliverables within a five-business-day close cycle.
  • Manage reporting workbooks and deliverables and lead the post-close adjustment cycle.
  • Conduct detailed fluctuation analysis and provide commentary to the Brand CFO, VP Controllership, and Corporate.
  • Collaborate with Tax, General Ledger, Financial Operations, and FP&A teams to streamline reporting and handle ad hoc requests.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including leveraging Artificial Intelligence, to improve consolidation and reporting team efficiency and capacity.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of post-qualified experience in accounting.
  • ACA qualification or equivalent professional accounting certification.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and independently manage complex reporting deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present financial data effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership of team responsibilities and tasks.
  • Preferred: subject matter expertise and applied experience with US GAAP.
  • Preferred: experience with financial consolidation systems such as OneStream.
  • Preferred: experience identifying and implementing process improvements or leveraging artificial intelligence for financial analysis.
