Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure Microsoft Fabric solutions, focusing on data integration, data engineering, and advanced analytics.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Fabric, including data pipelines, data governance, and self-service analytics.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and enforce best practices for managing and optimizing data storage, transformation, and reporting within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
Ensure seamless integration of Microsoft Fabric with existing cloud and on-premises data systems (Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, etc.).
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team on Microsoft Fabric tools and features.
Manage the lifecycle of data assets from ingestion to reporting, ensuring compliance with data governance and security requirements.
Stay updated on Microsoft Fabric updates, new features, and emerging trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in architecting and implementing solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
Strong expertise in data engineering, ETL processes, and data management using Microsoft Fabric components (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and their integration with Microsoft Fabric.
Proficiency with data modeling, database design, and performance optimization techniques.
Experience with Power BI, Power Query, and other analytics tools for data visualization and reporting.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications in Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or data architecture are a plus.
8+ years of experience in cloud data architecture or a related role.
