About the role
- Head of Product Strategy at Equinix leading the infrastructure and connectivity product portfolio. Responsible for shaping strategic direction and ensuring competitive edge in the market.
Responsibilities
- Define and continuously refine the multi-year strategic direction
- Develop coherent portfolio strategy spanning physical infrastructure, connectivity, and platform services
- Translate customer requirements into strategic priorities
- Lead structured market analysis across key customer segments
- Translate product strategy into a multi-year business outlook
- Serve as strategic advisor to Product BU leaders and senior executives
- Ensure product portfolio strategy aligns with broader corporate strategy
- Lead and develop a small, high-caliber product strategy team
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in product strategy, corporate strategy, business development, or management consulting
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and connectivity markets
- Demonstrated experience developing long-term product or portfolio strategy
- Experience translating strategy into business planning
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership
- Prior experience leading or mentoring teams
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
