About the role

  • Technology Coordinator at PCL Constructors overseeing technology requests processing and documentation in Edmonton. Supporting cost allocation and providing central coordination for districts and job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end processing of approved technology requests for job sites and districts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards
  • Receive, validate, and process software license assignments, reassignments, and removals, ensuring entitlements and usage align with internal policies and vendor agreements
  • Verify that all required business, technical, and financial information is provided prior to processing; return incomplete or non‑standard requests for clarification as needed
  • Support cost allocation and chargeback processes by ensuring requests include accurate coding, ownership, and attribution details
  • Maintain transaction‑level documentation to support billing, reconciliation, financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of technology transactions, asset assignments, and approvals to ensure systems of record reflect the current state
  • Support periodic reviews of license usage, assignments, and recoveries by providing accurate request and transaction history
  • Serve as a central point of contact for districts and job sites regarding request status, processing steps, timelines, and next actions
  • Escalate non‑standard requests, exceptions, or policy deviations to senior Technology team members with appropriate context and documentation
  • Operate within defined procedures and governance controls while identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve request quality, processes, and documentation standards

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative, procurement support, technology operations, or IT coordination role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent requests while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and follow-through
  • Working knowledge of software licensing concepts, asset tracking, or internal cost recovery processes is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency with common business systems, tracking tools, and documentation platforms
  • Highly organized and process-driven, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable operating within defined standards, approvals, and governance frameworks
  • Service-oriented, with a focus on responsiveness, clarity, and reliability
  • Confident escalating exceptions while preserving context and auditability
