About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify, design, deliver, and evaluate training and development needs
  • Apply adult learning principles to needs assessment, design, delivery, and evaluation
  • Lead training projects according to a timeline and defined target plan
  • Present technical training project proposals to senior management
  • Design and deliver innovative quality and GxP training programs
  • Identify internal and external resources and maintain professional relationships
  • Design training modules independently or in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Deliver site-wide training programs and ensure compliance oversight
  • Lead technical training activities to ensure consistency and performance improvement
  • Collaborate with management on the selection, coaching, training, and development of technical trainers
  • Design and develop instructor-led and computer-based training
  • Manage training related to facility transformation projects, from initial planning through final review, including costs and lessons learned
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new employees and contractors
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the site regarding technical training
  • Update modules as required by business units or regulatory agencies
  • Act as a consultant to address technical training needs
  • Monitor the effectiveness of technical training and performance improvement
  • Provide results to stakeholders to support continuous improvement

Requirements

  • University degree (BSc/BA) and 3–5 years of relevant training experience in a regulated environment, or an equivalent combination of education and pharmaceutical experience
  • At least four years of experience in training, development, design, and implementation of technical training courses
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
  • Relevant training experience gained within the past five years
  • Proficiency with word processing, graphics software, databases, video presentation/facilitation, web-based computer-based training (CBT), and e-learning
  • High standards of values and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • French-English bilingualism preferred
