Senior Product Manager needed for a 6 - month contract in downtown Vancouver with retail and data analytics experience. Onsite 4 days/week.
About the role
- Senior Product Manager leading AI and pricing initiatives at Plusgrade. Overseeing engineering team to enhance passenger experiences and drive revenue.
Responsibilities
- Lead the product vision: Define the roadmap for AI and pricing, from experimentation through production deployment.
- Establish the pricing strategy: Translate complex airline revenue objectives into technical requirements for AI models.
- Collaborate with data science: Define “rewards” and “states” that enable the AI engine to make optimal revenue decisions.
- Act as the domain expert: Explain the rationale behind AI-driven decisions to internal stakeholders and airline partners.
- Manage the product lifecycle: Oversee pricing applications, from simulation and A/B testing to global deployment.
- Identify use cases: Discover new high-impact AI opportunities by translating data into well-defined product problems.
- Sequence delivery: Collaborate with Technical Product Managers and engineers to manage trade-offs and delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Relevant experience implementing AI applications and managing products in a SaaS environment.
- Ability to formulate hypotheses, train models, and measure outcomes alongside data scientists.
- Experience in product pricing, revenue management, or e-commerce optimization.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and take ownership of decisions.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and explain complex concepts clearly.
- Degree in economics, business, computer science, or a related field.
