About the role
- Mobile Service Technician diagnosing and repairing agricultural and compact construction equipment at customer sites for Premier Equipment. Supporting GPS technologies and maintaining exceptional service standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing complex issues on agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment at customer’s site
- Troubleshooting and supporting advanced GPS and Precision Ag technologies
- Clear communication with customers about repairs and maintenance
- Supporting customer clinics and promoting Premier Equipment’s service programs
- Managing mobile service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
- Adhering to safety standards and completing required documentation
- Maintaining Premier’s reputation for exceptional service
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to perform complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs following technical manuals
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and support GPS and Precision Ag technologies
- Proficient with Service Advisor and basic computer skills
- Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment
- Saturday rotation and on-call availability
- Preferred Advanced or Master Service Technician certification
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
- Forklift license
- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training
- Experience with John Deere and competitive products.
