About the role
- Personal Lines Sales Broker selling Canadian auto and home insurance through provided leads and existing networks. Quoting clients, recommending coverage, and meeting sales targets remotely.
Responsibilities
- Manage leads and provide quotes to prospective clients in a timely manner
- Generate new business through existing networks and given leads
- Build trust and effectively understand customers’ needs and requirements
- Close sales and meet sales targets
- Identify opportunities to drive customer value with cross-selling and upselling
- Recommend and explain coverages based on individual customer needs
- Adhere to underwriting criteria set out by broker partners
- Report to the Personal Lines Sales Broker, Team Lead
Requirements
- Alberta Level 2 General License required
- B.C. Level 1/2 General License an asset
- Minimum 1 year of personal lines insurance sales experience with a proven track record of achieving high sales numbers
- Independent, ambitious and competitive
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude
- Looking to grow with a rapidly expanding company
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
