About the role

Credit Specialist role supporting International Private Banking teams in Canada and Asia. Involves credit underwriting, structuring solutions, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

Support Private Bankers in originating, structuring and closing credit opportunities
Take a continuous improvement approach to achieving superior client experience, including proactive monitoring of client affairs and taking ownership of problem resolutions
Provide proactive credit advice to clients as a key member of the client relationship management team in collaboration with the Private Banker and Private Banking Associate teams
Promote the business through presentations and meetings to RBC partners of our credit business and capabilities
Identify potential new products to enhance our product offerings
Proactively manage credit renewals

University degree or equivalent education in business, finance, or related fields
Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese
3-5 years of lending experience in the financial services industry
A thorough understanding of relevant financing products
Team player and self-motivated
Good verbal and written communications skills
Nice-to-have: Experience in Credit Structuring/Sales in the HNW Space
Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Marketable securities
