About the role

  • Product Management Analyst supporting data analytics, reporting, and governance at RBC, a Canadian bank. Building dashboards and translating data insights into product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Support data and business analytics activities within the Product Management Team in the Chief Data Office
  • Develop data storytelling materials and communications
  • Leverage metadata for in-depth analysis of product development or enhancement workstreams
  • Contribute to evaluating alignment between product initiatives, consumer needs, and company priorities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand data and analysis outcomes
  • Build and maintain Collibra views and dashboard reports for varied audiences
  • Support tactical reporting while strategic solutions are in progress
  • Communicate information summaries with clear visualizations and insights to help leaders make decisions
  • Maintain requirement documents and user guides
  • Monitor and triage shared inbox communications
  • Support regular release notes and Connect page maintenance
  • Work with teams to implement solutions and improve services
  • Track progress and maintain visibility on key projects
  • Highlight discrepancies between internal policy and procedures and product capabilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data and product management
  • Intermediate experience with SQL, Tableau and database technologies like PostgreSQL
  • Experience in Financial Services with exposure to data activities
  • Comfort in asking clarifying questions with internal and external subject matter experts
  • Ability managing multiple priorities at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with program management tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft) (nice-to-have)
  • Knowledge of global data management regulations (e.g., BCBS 239, FRB) (nice-to-have)
  • DCAM Certified (nice-to-have)
