About the role
- Senior Analyst governing GenAI model risk and compliance for RBC’s digital banking contact-centre technology. Building performance frameworks, automating controls, and enabling compliant engineering delivery.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all GenAI use cases meet regulatory standards and close risk findings within allotted remediation timeframes
- Partner with business teams to define key performance metrics and build a dashboard tracking model performance and trends in real time
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Model Risk Management team to streamline certification processes
- Guide teams through model risk compliance and use LLMs and agentic workflows to streamline documentation and summarize the risk landscape for executive audiences
- Implement control testing and monitoring automation with stakeholders where possible
- Establish and steward the Model Risk and Governance Centre of Enablement for Advice Centre & Branch Technology
- Serve as spokesperson and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives that support engineering speed and compliance
- Bridge IT, Business, and Risk stakeholders to support GenAI initiatives within Contact Centre and Shared Services
Requirements
- A bold passion for AI and emerging technologies, with a vision for how they can transform risk governance
- 3-5 years of accelerated, high-impact experience in product management, information security or risk management
- Track record of turning complex regulatory challenges into engineering enablement
- Creative problem-solving skills, positive energy, and ability to challenge the status quo to constantly innovate and streamline processes
- Expertise in IT risk assessments, using frameworks, policies, and industry best practices
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to inspire and guide cross-functional, agile teams
- Nice-to-have: Advocacy for Safe AI adoption and a deep understanding of best practices
- Nice-to-have: Ability to translate technical jargon into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels
