Principal Product Manager leading strategy, discovery, and delivery for Redcan’s agentic AI enterprise products. Driving validated customer outcomes across multiple SaaS initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead product strategy and execution across multiple products and initiatives
Own customer problems and product outcomes from discovery through launch and adoption
Conduct continuous discovery with customers, developers, and business users
Identify and validate AI workflows and measurable customer value
Track customer needs, competitors, agent frameworks, model providers, and policy developments
Develop product knowledge, run demonstrations, configure pilots, and build working prototypes
Define requirements for AI-enabled products, including agent roles, permissions, human review, audit trails, and feedback loops
Partner with engineering on architecture, security, privacy, tenancy, reliability, and auditability decisions
Own coordinated 6–12 month product roadmaps across products and projects
Lead build, buy, hybrid, and sunset recommendations
Set product direction, contingency plans, positioning, go-to-market plans, and pricing
Define and report product success measures and design experiments
Write product requirements and coordinate execution across engineering, design, and stakeholders
Manage scope, user acceptance testing, launch preparation, risks, blockers, and dependencies
Partner on capacity planning and return-on-investment assessments
Present product direction and evidence to executives, engineers, portfolio companies, and customers
Lead customer discovery sessions, demonstrations, workshops, and pilot reviews
Mentor product managers, co-ops, and designers
Support recruiting and onboarding
Create reusable product management playbooks
Represent Redcan products in the OpenText Ventures ecosystem
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent education or work experience
8+ years of product management experience
End-to-end ownership of B2B SaaS products or platforms
Leadership across multiple products, initiatives, or teams
Experience shipping AI or LLM-powered features to production
Understanding of quality evaluation, failure modes, and cost management
Experience with developer platforms, enterprise software, or workflow and low-code products
Experience in government, the public sector, or regulated industries
Technical fluency with architecture documents, API specifications, and pull requests
Practical proficiency with AI tools for prototyping, analysis, research synthesis, and specification writing
Entrepreneurial initiative, ownership, and communication skills
Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
Willingness and ability to undertake occasional, reasonable business travel
Ability to fully collaborate during core Eastern Timezone hours, typically 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Preferred: Agentic AI, Model Context Protocol (MCP), workflow and case management, enterprise SaaS foundations, AI coding or design tools, Canadian public-sector context, and OpenText ecosystem experience
