Project Coordinator delivering digital medical communications projects for life sciences clients. Coordinating timelines, budgets, teams, deliverables, and client workflows from Red Nucleus’s Toronto office.
Responsibilities
Support delivery of medical communications projects on time and within budget
Schedule meetings, track tasks, and maintain project documentation
Lead day-to-day project operations under supervision
Keep timelines, budgets, resourcing, and deliverables up to date
Serve as a primary project contact and facilitate communication between internal teams and clients
Draft briefs and Statements of Work
Understand client and project objectives and flag potential regulatory or technical barriers
Maintain project files, templates, and reporting tools
Prioritize deliverables and assignments through stakeholder communication
Assign tasks to multidisciplinary teams including UX, Graphic Design, Animation, Software Development, and Quality Assurance
Manage project resourcing and address changes in project requirements with senior team members
Manage scope changes, identify risks, devise contingency plans, and communicate with clients
Lead postmortem meetings and recommend improvements
Identify process development and enhancement opportunities
Monitor financials, status updates, and key insights
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (business, marketing, or sciences)
2+ years of relevant digital, account, project management and/or healthcare experience in an interactive agency
University degree, preferably in Business or Science, or equivalent experience
Proven success in the strategy, planning, and implementation of client facing digital projects
Excellent people and conflict resolution skills, and client service attitude
Proven ability to negotiate a positive outcome for all parties
Hands-on background in web or mobile development processes and platforms
Experience managing HTML5, Flash, iOS and Android projects is a plus
Track record of delivering multiple projects on time and on budget
Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining client and team relationships
Knowledge of project management tools, best practices and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding meeting and time management skills
Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies and environments
Pharmaceutical industry and healthcare knowledge is an asset
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
Experience with project management software, including MS Project, Basecamp or Redmine
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
